The Tucson Lobos would like to THANK 2 High School Graduates,
Freddie From Sunnyside High School
&
Estevan From Luz Academy of Tucson,
for practicing & playing with the Tucson Lobos. These
2 High School Graduates have been recruited to play for the:
2007-2008
University of Arizona
Mens Wildcat Wheelchair Basketball Team.
The Tucson Lobos had a Lobo Ball Tournament from 4/26/7 to 5/30/7.
The UA Wheelchair Basketball Women had a deep bench & won that Tournament.
A Lobo Ball Tournament allows able-bodied people to get in a wheelchair on the basketball court.
The Lobo Ball games are 5 on 5 & follow NWBA Rules.
3 veteran players are allowed on each team of 5 players.
The next Lobo Ball Tournament will be played @ the Parks&Rec Northwest Center.
The Tournament date will be in either September or October 2007.
A Plaque & other prizes for Tournament winners will be awarded.
A tax deductible donation will allow the Tucson Lobos to come to you or your School if you request.

Fairly soon we'll take a new team photo. This 2003-2004 team photo will then be put on the web.
We've got a few new faces on the team. It'll be interesting to see how many games fall in the W column this season.
We're looking to put a short film for each Tucson Lobos Player, and one highlight for each of our games.
We'd also like to add a link to the schedule&scores page with some team stats.
Until then ..

The Lobos Team is extremely grateful to PSE Archery for adding some anti-tip bars to team members wheelchairs.
We took a team photo over at the A.R.C.H. Building after playing the Phoenix Mustangs.
We've got a few new faces on the team.
Our record improved to 16 Wins 8 Losses from 5 Wins 13 Losses last season.
The action footage from the team members and games hasn't occurred yet.
Team stats have not been added to the web either.
Ray Lopez, Steve Caldwell, Brian Corrigan, Mike Gallas, and John Buehler were in an assembly at Sunnyside High School playing with the Sunnyside Blue Devils.
The assembly was very nice and we are very grateful to Sunnyside High School for including the Tucson Lobos in their pep assembly.
Just look over your shoulder ... and the Tucson Lobos will be there:)
